Berwick Comes Up Short
Junior, Easton Genest pitched a complete game and allowed only three hits, striking out eight and walking two. After a leadoff double in the top of the 7th inning, Portsmouth Abbey sacrificed a bunt to advance the runner to third base. The next hitter squeezed in the winning run. Both teams finished the game with three hits. Overall, a well played game by both teams.
