The Berwick Parent Community (BPC) builds and sustains an inclusive and welcoming community, supports Berwick Academy’s mission and innovative curriculum, and promotes positive experiences for all members of the Berwick Academy community.
The Goals of the Berwick Parent Community include:
Parent Communication & Support
The BPC volunteers work to inform parents of campus events and serve as a support system for new and current families who would like guidance on Berwick Academy processes and procedures.
Parent Volunteer Coordination
The Berwick community, with its economic, cultural and ethnic diversity, is enriched by the variety of talents, resources, and backgrounds that each parent brings to the school. We encourage parent involvement by offering opportunities to share skills and experience in volunteer activities.
Community Event Coordination
The BPC coordinates events with the goal of creating an environment that is welcoming and inclusive of the entire Berwick Academy community. The focus of our social opportunities ranges across every part of our broader Berwick Academy community, and includes educational, athletic, artistic and fundraising events.
Fundraising
The BPC supports fundraising initiatives that enhance student programs across all three divisions, provide opportunities for family engagement, and promote excellence among faculty and staff.
Broader Community Outreach
The BPC works to support Berwick Academy beyond our campus as ambassadors of the school in both Admissions and greater community programs.
