Time:  9 a.m.-12 p.m. (Drop-off between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.)
Cost:  $320/week
AM & PM Half-Day Options for a Full-Day Experience: This camp pairs with a complementary AM program led by professional comedian Stephanie Lazenby, offering a full-day experience. While each session features different programming, they work together to enhance skills and creativity. We encourage registering for both the AM and PM programs. AfterCare Available: Extend your child's camp day until 5 p.m. by adding AfterCare during registration.
Transportation Available: Pick-up and drop-off locations in Exeter, Portsmouth, Kittery, & York. Weekly transportation passes can be added during registration.

Pair with Stephanie’s PM Stand-Up/Comedy Storytelling Camp for a full-day comedy experience!
Are you the one who always has your friends in stitches? Do you possess a sharp wit and a knack for sarcasm? Or maybe you simply aspire to make others laugh? If so, Couch to Mic: Sketch Comedy Camp is the perfect opportunity to showcase your comedic talent. This immersive camp lets you dive into sketch comedy, collaborating with fellow aspiring comedians to write, rehearse, and perform your own original skits. The camp will culminate in a live performance on the final day, where you can share your work with friends and family.

Throughout the week, you’ll learn the art of crafting jokes, perfecting timing, and bringing dynamic characters to life, while developing your acting, collaboration, and creative writing skills. You'll also study the work of comedy legends and rising stars to learn what makes them funny. Please bring a notebook, and if you'd like to elevate your writing, feel free to bring a laptop. We’ll be here to help inspire your creativity! Couch to Mic is led by Stephanie S. Lazenby, a professional comedy writer, performer, and producer with years of industry experience. Stephanie hosts the Couch to Mic workshop at 3S Artspace in Portsmouth, NH, and is a juried Artist-in-Residence with the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts. if you’ve got jokes, bring them to the mic—let’s turn your creativity into comedy gold!
