Join us for a week of hands-on creativity at the Craft Barn in Kittery, ME! This off-campus program is perfect for young makers eager to explore sewing, crafting, and design. Campers will learn to use a Singer Heavy Duty sewing machine, experiment with a variety of craft supplies, and create everyday items infused with color and pattern.

This week’s theme, Color & Pattern, will inspire campers to transform ordinary objects into vibrant works of art. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from The Craft Barn.
Craft Barn: Color & Pattern Summer Camp 
Unleash your creativity this summer at The Craft Barn’s ultimate hands-on crafting experience! This exciting week-long camp, led in partnership with Craft Barn owner Jessica Tejerina, is designed for young makers of all skill levels who love to create, explore, and express themselves through art, sewing, and design.

Master the Art of Sewing & Crafting
Campers will gain hands-on experience using the Singer Heavy Duty sewing machine, learning essential sewing techniques to create functional and decorative pieces. From stitching colorful fabric projects to crafting unique accessories, participants will develop skills that bring their creative visions to life.

Explore Color & Pattern Like Never Before
This week’s theme, Color & Pattern, will encourage campers to discover how thoughtful color combinations and bold patterns can transform everyday objects into stunning works of art. Through guided projects, kids will experiment with fabric, paper, paint, and mixed media to craft one-of-a-kind items that bring joy every time they’re used!

What Campers Will Create & Learn:
Sewing & Machine Skills – Learn how to use a Singer Heavy Duty machine
Textile & Fabric Design – Experiment with different fabrics, patterns, and textures
Creative Crafting Techniques – Use a variety of craft supplies for unique projects
Handmade Everyday Items – Make fun, useful items like bags, pouches, and home decor
Pattern & Color Theory – Discover how colors and designs work together to enhance artistic creations
