Cost: $445/week
AfterCare Available: Please add on AfterCare at during the registration process if you wish to extend your child's camp day to 5pm.
Transportation Available: Pick-up and drop-off locations in Exeter, Portsmouth, Kittery, & York. Add a weekly transportation pass during registration to access our transportation offering.

Dive into the ultimate marine adventure with Maine Marine Masters: Ocean Quest Camp! Tailored for young ocean enthusiasts in grades 3-8, this five-day camp offers an unforgettable journey into the fascinating worlds of oceanography, marine biology, and coastal ecosystems.

What to Expect:

This action-packed camp is designed to ignite curiosity and foster a lifelong love for the ocean through:
  • Hands-On Science: Campers will explore ocean zones, study marine life, and even dissect fish anatomy to uncover the wonders of marine ecosystems.
  • Thrilling Field Trips: From catching fish at Hampton Harbor to embarking on a whale-watching expedition, campers will dive deep into the Gulf of Maine’s marine environments.
  • Interactive Coastal Exploration: Discover tidal zones, investigate coastal habitats, and gain a new appreciation for the ocean’s incredible biodiversity.
  • Exciting Ocean-Themed Activities: Engage in shark swim relays, dolphin leap races, and creative marine life art projects.
The adventure concludes with a tidal pool exploration at Fort Foster and a fun-filled farewell party to celebrate new skills and accomplishments!
 
Meet Your Expert Guide: Kevin McGann
Kevin McGann, a seasoned marine scientist, educator, and soon-to-be U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain, leads this immersive experience. With years of hands-on expertise in shark tagging, plankton research, and lobster hauling, Kevin brings the ocean to life for campers. A former instructor at Shoals Marine Laboratory and the University of Southern Maine, Kevin’s teaching style is engaging, interactive, and inspiring.
