Camp Topics: Little Explorers STEAM Adventure Camp
Join us for an exciting week of hands-on STEAM activities! Calling all curious kiddos! Dive into an unforgettable week of hands-on discovery and imagination tailored just for PreK to 1st graders. From exploring the wonders of the ocean and meeting fascinating sea creatures to making dinosaur fossils, each day is packed with exciting STEAM adventures. Through fun experiments, creative crafts, and interactive activities, your little one will ignite their imagination, spark curiosity, and develop new skills.
Grades Served: Preschool-Grade 1
Location: Berwick Academy, 31 Academy Street, South Berwick, ME
Dates: June 16-20, Monday-Friday (No Thursday)
Time: PM 1/2 Day, 12-3 p.m.
Half-Day options: Yoga or Base camp is offered in conjunction to this program to make it a full day experience.
Cost: $255/week

Marvelous Mixtures – Get ready for a bubbling, fizzing, and oozing adventure in chemistry! Campers will mix colorful potions, create magical slime, and explore exciting chemical reactions that change colors, foam up, and even glow. Through hands-on experiments, they’ll discover the wonders of mixing, dissolving, and transforming materials while having a blast making their own take-home science creations.
Dino Detectives – Step back in time and become a real paleontologist! Campers will dig for fossils, study dinosaur footprints, and uncover prehistoric mysteries through hands-on excavation activities. They’ll create their own fossil imprints, build a mini dinosaur habitat, and learn fascinating facts about the creatures that once roamed the Earth.
Sea Explorers – Dive into an underwater world of discovery! Young marine scientists will explore ocean ecosystems, learn about fascinating sea creatures, and investigate the power of waves and tides. Through hands-on activities, they’ll create ocean-themed art, build floating boats, and even design their own jellyfish in a bottle.
Motion & Energy – It’s all about movement, speed, and power! Campers will build and race cars, experiment with ramps and gravity, and take on the exciting egg drop challenge to test the forces of motion. They’ll also explore renewable energy with fun wind and solar-powered activities, discovering how energy powers our world.
Imagination Station – Creativity takes center stage as campers bring their wildest ideas to life! They’ll design whimsical fairy houses, explore constellations in a homemade planetarium, and experiment with storytelling through shadow play and puppetry. This magical day blends science, art, and creative problem-solving for a perfect grand finale to an unforgettable week.
