Sarah Feldman

PK-8 Counselor
I grew up in Bowdoin, Maine, and my family still lives in the area. I’ve practiced elementary and middle school counseling in Baltimore, and most recently in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
I left Maine to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland, where, after graduation, I worked in the healthcare industry for several years. I realized that sitting in a cubicle was not for me! So I went on to get my M.Ed in school counseling from Loyola University Maryland! I’ve practiced elementary and middle school counseling in Baltimore, and most recently in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach when working with my students, and specialize in Social Thinking, Zones of Regulation, The Incredible 5-Point Scale, and practice the concept of Mindfulness both as a teaching tool and a self regulation strategy. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, going to the beach, listening to new music, and spending time with my family.
