Please review our art exhibit guidelines before submitting work: -Proper information, high-resolution images for publicity within the Berwick Academy campus, labels, and price information must be provided by the exhibiting artist(s). -All work must be gallery ready. All two dimensional work must include wire backed frames that are easily hung by staff. -If work can be sold, buyer contact must be directly with the exhibiting artist(s). Jackson Gallery does not charge a fee but appreciates a commission to help cover gallery expenses. -All sold work must remain on exhibit in the gallery for the duration of the exhibition. -Removal of work is the responsibility of the exhibiting artist(s) and must be done in coordination with staff. The Jackson Library Gallery committee has final approval of the exhibition layout. -Berwick Academy/Jackson Library Gallery has an insurance policy up to a certain amount that covers objects while they are on exhibition, additional coverage is the responsibility of the exhibiting artist(s). -Subject matter of all shown work must be appropriate for children as well as adults, therefore nudity and images portraying violence are not permitted in gallery shows. The Jackson Library Gallery Committee reserves the right to disqualify images that seem incongruent with the audience of a Pre-K through Grade 12 school. |
