On a sunny and windy afternoon, the Bulldogs tied Newton Country Day 0-0 on Thursday 10/10 in an EIL matchup and a NEPSAC class C game on their home field.

The teams were evenly matched in their physicality and skill, and the Bulldogs did a great job of keeping their opponent from scoring. In the first half, the Bulldogs scored a goal but it was controversial and did not count because the referee had called off sides.

In the second half of the game, Berwick had a great chance off a free kick from Eliza Small '24 (Portsmouth, NH), and another free kick from Griffin Demers '28 (Rochester, NH) but the Bulldogs couldn't get the ball in the goal. Alexa Garcia '26 (Dover, NH) was solid in net in the second half, ensuring that she and Julia Brennan '28 (Exeter, NH) would earn the Bulldogs their seventh shutout of the season.

The Bulldogs are 6-4-2 on the season and will host Pingree School on Wednesday, October 16. Go Bulldogs!
