Great Pitching and Solid Defense helps Berwick to earn Win over Exeter

Easton Genest  (1-0) pitched a complete game four hit shutout to help spark the Bulldogs to a 1-0 win over Phillips Exeter Academy in the season opener. Catcher, Dermott McKinnon had a rbi single in the top half of the 4th inning that became the difference maker. Gus Lambert contributed with a hard hit single and the Bulldogs defense only committed 1 error. Genest finished he game with 8 strikeouts with only giving up 2 base on balls. The Bulldogs will now focus on getting 1% each day as they prepare for their next game vs. Kents Hill.
