The varsity Bulldogs travelled to Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall and lost a tightly contested game, 52-60.
Stout defense would not be enough, as early foul trouble involving two starters and cold shooting from behind the arc would set the tone for a tough matchup against the Chargers. The Bulldogs kept the game close behind ('25) Noah Daniel's 26 points and ('27) Brandon Ventura's double-double (13 points and 11 rebounds) but eventually would fall. ('28) Kavery Daniel would make a significant impact in the game while playing in his first extended minutes of the season; KD finished the game with six points, four rebounds, three steals and one assist.
Final: TP: 52, FG: 19-53 25.8%, 3FG: 2-21 10%, FT 11-18 61%, TO: 17, REB: 31, AST: 13, STL: 8
