The varsity Bulldogs travelled to Concord in their second EIL match-up, falling 46-62.
A late arrival due to weather and a hostile environment did not deter the Bulldogs in putting up a fight in Concord Wednesday night. Concord's hot start and outside shooting provided them with a substantial lead going into halftime. The Bulldogs were kept in the game by Noah Daniel's first half 17 points and six defensive rebounds.
In the second half, Berwick Academy would fight back, behind seven points (two 3-point field goals) from Freshman Dominic Lorello. The depleted squad, after injuries to Connor Hansen and Tucker Demers, who tallied six points and three rebounds before leaving the game, cut the deficit to nine points before Concord pulled away in the end. For the second consecutive EIL game, the Bulldog defense held its opponent to a score in the 60s.
N. Daniel finished with a 27Pts., 11REB, 5A to lead all scorers. Brandon Ventura and Connor Hansen contributed with six and five rebounds, respectively.
