The Bulldogs traveled to Hebron Academy on Saturday October 5th, a beautiful fall day and came away with a big 5-0 win holding 10-3 advantage with shots on goal and an 9-2 edge on corners.

The Bulldogs came out strong carrying possession and earning a number of corners in the first half.  Leila Beakes '26 (Rollinsford, NH) opened the scoring earning what would be the game winning goal off an assist from Campbell McKee ‘28 (Brentwood, NH) with a great shot to the left corner from the top of the 18 just 6 minutes into the game.  In the 20th minute Juliet Lohnes ‘25 (Berwick, ME) played a great ball high and into the box and Sophia DeSimone ‘28 (Dover, NH) came out of nowhere and settled the ball with ease and found the back of the net to increase the Bulldogs lead.  Just 3 minutes before the halftime break, Sophia DeSimone ‘28 (Dover, NH)  found the net again for her second goal this time from Alexa Garcia ‘26 (Dover, NH) and the Bulldogs went into the halftime break up 3-0.

In the second half the Bulldogs were not as strong and Hebron managed 3 shots and grabbed 2 corners. Thankfully the Bulldog defense kept the Lumberjacks off the scoreboard, with a little help from the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Annabelle Arp ‘28 (Greenland, NH) scored her first career goal with an amazing one touch finish over the goalkeeper off a great pass from Julia Brennan ‘28 (Exeter, NH) to increase the Bulldog lead to 4-0. In the 66th minute Griffin Demers '28 (Rochester NH) setup Leila Beakes '26 (Rollinsford, NH) for a shot from distance that found the back of the net for her second goal of the game when Sophia DeSimone ‘28 (Dover, NH) ran into the box towards the Hebron goalkeeper to make it 5-0.

The Bulldogs are 6-3-1 on the season, earned their 6th shutout of the season and will have a quick turnaround and travel to Holderness School on Monday 10/7 for a NEPSAC class C game. Go Bulldogs!
